Good afternoon,
As we eagerly anticipate our safe return to our athletic seasons our office has continued to roll out new mandatory requirements for our athletic directors and coaches.
- Athletic Directors who have not completed all of the following requirements will not be allowed to register teams for their parishes.
- Coaches who have not completed all of the following requirements will not be allowed to coach.
In order to better serve our young athletes, all athletic directors and coaches are required to complete the following:
- Virtus - Protecting God’s Children Child Protection Training
- Play Like A Champion Today's Coaching as Ministry Youth Coach Clinic
- CDC's HEADS UP to Youth Sports: Concussion Training
- NFHS' Heat Illness Prevention Course
- Coach's Code Conduct tied to their SportsPilot account
The trainings do require some time commitments, but are not overly burdensome. It’s important to complete all of these in order to provide the youth with the best possible programming and experiences we can offer.
